There’s no shortage of pizza places around Portland, but if you’re hanging out in the Pearl with the family, maybe visiting the Jamison Fountain, there really aren’t a lot of kid-friendly, autietots-friendly, places to eat. This is one of them. There’s a bunch of outdoor seating, and a big indoor courtyard seating area for when it starts raining. There’s even a little corner off to the side with a TV–not tuned to cable news! In fact, the day we were there the TV was showing a rather mesmerizing video of a spinning marble contraption, something that looked like a perpetual motion machine! Across the hall is a Laughing Planet in case you need some variety.
Hotlips does offer gluten-free pizza dough, but it clearly states that the dough is not vegan.
On our visit, a Sunday afternoon, the place was pretty empty, and there was certainly plenty of room to move around.
